State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Elizabeth Smith aged Eighteen years
about four feet ten inches high Bright Complexion
has no perceptible markes is one of the persons
manumitted by Thomas Burley by deed dated the
third day of March in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty four and
that she was raised in the County aforesaid
             Issued the 12th day of May 1856

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County do hereby certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Nathan Stepney aged about forty four years about
five feet four and a quarter inches high black complexion
has a large scar on left arm is one of the Children
of negro Charity manumitted by Stephen Boone by deed
dated the 17th day of November 1815 which said issue
of the said negro Charity was to be free at the age
of thirty five years and that the said negro
Nathan is about that age and that he was
raised in the County aforesaid
             Issued the 19th day of May 1856

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
