three years about five feet ten Inches high brown Complexion and has a scar upon the forefinger of the left hand is one of the persons manumitted by Sarah Riggs by deed dated the Eighteenth day of may in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fourteen and that he was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 7th day of August 1822 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Hannah aged about thirty Eight years about five feet four Inches high, dark Complexion has a scar near the right Corner of the mouth, another near the Corner of the left eye, and another upon the back of the right hand is one of the persons manumitted by Henry Hammond by deed dated the twenty third day of February Eighteen hundred and Eleven, and that she was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 7th day of August 1822 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Stephen Kelly aged about twenty one years about five feet five Inches high dark Complexion a scar near the right ear, was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 21st day of August 1822 |
