State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sct I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may Concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Bill aged about twenty seven years about five feet five and an half Inches high black Complexion has a scar upon the breast is one of the persons manumitted by Sarah Meriweather by Deed dated the twenty fifth day of march Eighteen hundred and nine that his freedom Commenced in the year Eighteen hundred and nineteen and that he was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 16 day of December 1822 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sct I hereby Certify ^to all whom it doth or may Concern^ that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Moses aged about twenty eight years about five feet Eight and an half Inches high black complexion has a scar near the left nostrel and another upon the back of the left hand is one of the persons manumitted by Nicholas Meriweather by Deed dated the twenty fourth day of September Eighteen hundred and three that his freedom commenced in the year Eighteen hundred and twenty and that he was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 16 day of December 1822 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sc I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Charles aged about thirty nine years about five feet four and an half Inches high brown Complexion has (a) |
