years about five feet three Inches high black
complexion has a small scar near the bend of the right
arm is one of the persons manumitted by Hester and
Elizabeth Hood by Deed dated the second day of
December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and twenty two and that she was raised
in the County aforesaid
Issued the 20th day of March 1823


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may
concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Eliza
(calling herself Eliza Brown) aged about twenty
five years about five feet four Inches high, black
complexion a scar on her right elbow and a small
scar on the back of the right hand is one of the
persons manumitted by Hester Hood and Elizabeth
Hood by deed dated the second day of December in
the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and twenty two and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 26th day of march 1823


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby Certify
to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a
negro woman named Louisa (calling herself Louisa
Parker) aged about twenty five years about five
feet two and an half Inches high black Complexion
has a small scar on the back of the left hand near
the wrist is one of the persons manumitted by
Hester Hood and Elizabeth Hood by deed dated
the second day of December in the year of our
Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty
two, and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 28th day of March 1823
