182 Manumission March 27/61 George Vickers John is 5 ft 7¾ inches of dark complexion with three scars on the forehead And was accordingly recorded this 27.th day of march 1861 By Jesse K Hines Clk To Jesse K Hines Clerk Ct Ct for Kent County I hereby certify that a negro woman now present and applying for a certificate of of freedom is the identical negro named in a Deed of Manumission from me to Sundry negroes in the year 1849 and recorded in Liber J F G No 4 page 244 &c (named Catharine Calder) July 26/1862 Ann W. Perkins Same is 5 feet 1¾ inches high of a bright Complexion with a scar over the right eye and also upon the left cheek and is about 26 years of age And was accordingly recorded this 26.th day of July 1862 By Jesse K. Hines Clk To Jesse K Hines Clerk of Circuit Court for Kent County I hereby certify that a negro man now present and applying for a certificate of freedom named James Thomas Moore aged about twenty one years was born free and raised in Kent County John Needles Augt 2 1862 James is 5 ft 3 in high black complexion And was accordingly recorded this 2.d day of August 1862 By Jesse K.
