March 27/61                              George Vickers

John is 5 ft 7¾ inches of dark complexion with three scars
on the forehead
And was accordingly recorded this 27.th day of march 1861

I hereby certify that a negro woman now present and applying
for a certificate of of freedom is the identical negro
named in a Deed of Manumission from me to Sundry negroes
in the year 1849 and recorded in Liber J F G No 4 page 244 &c
(named Catharine Calder)

July 26/1862                                 Ann W. Perkins

    Same is 5 feet 1¾ inches high of a bright Complexion with
a scar over the right eye and also upon the left cheek
and is about 26 years of age
And was accordingly recorded this 26.th day of July 1862

for a certificate of freedom named James Thomas Moore
aged about twenty one years was born free and raised in
