enfeoffe and confirme, unto him the said George Russell the said tract of Land called Yarmouth
laid out butted and bounded as aforesd conteining by measure two hundred acres more or less, To
have and to hold the said tract of land, togeather with all the profits benifits & appurtenances
thereunto belonging Royal mines excepted unto him the sd George Russell his Heirs & Assigns for
ever. And the said Wm: Hearne for himself his Heirs Execcutors Admrs and Assigns, doth further
warrant Covenant that the said George Russell. now is and standeth by force & virtue of these presents
fully and absolutely seized of the sd land called Yarmouth and of every the premises without any
(cond)ition or limitation of all or any use or uses, to alter charge determine or make void the same And
( ) the sd land called Yarmouth with the and every the appurtenances now are and shall so for
(ever) remain continue and be unto the sd George Russell his Heirs and Assigns free & freely clear
(and) clearly acquitted exonerated and discharged of and from all and all manner of former and other
( )ts grants leases joyntures, dowers, wills, annuities, Intails statutes, Recognizances, Bonds Execcutions
( )nts seizures, Condemnations, Rents, arrearages of Rents, Intrusions, forfeitures, mortgages, final
( )s of Record, tithes, troubles, charges and incumbrances whatsoever, had made comitted done or
( )red by me the said William: Hearne, or by my consent assent, act means or procurement, and further
(the) said Wm: Hearne and Katherine his wife, for them Selves their Heirs Execcutors and Asignes, do
(cove)nant and grant to and with the said George Russell, his Heirs, Execcutors and Assigns and every of
them, that he and they shall and may for ever hereafter quietly and peaceable, have hold occupy possess (and)
enjoy the said land and premises, with the and every the appurtenances, without the lett trouble, suit
( )yal disturbance molestation interruption or eviction of us the said William. Hearne or off
Katherine my wife or of either of us, our Estates rights or titles. And it further hereby declared & concluded
( )and between all the parties to these presents that the said land called Yarmouth and premises, togeather
with all and every the Hereditaments and appurtenances, shall for ever be remain & enure to the only
propper use, and behoofe of the said George Russell his Heirs and Assigns, and to no other use intent of
purpose whatsoever, In witnesse whereof the said William: Hearne hath hereunto set his hand and
fixed his seal in presence of the witnesses, whose names are hereunto Subscribed as testimonies

Memorandum that this day to witt the 7th. day of April in the third year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord and Lady James the second of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland King defender
of the faith &c. And in the XIII. -- year of the Dominion of the right honble. Charles absolute Lord & proprietr
(of the) Province of Maryland and Avalon, Lord Baron of Baltimore &c. Annoq Domini 1688 before us
James: Round and Samuel: Hopkins two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace, Came William: Hearne &
Katherine his wife parties to the within written Indenture in their propper persons, And the sd Katherine
(being) by us alone and secretly examined according to the form of a Certain Act of Assembly in that Case
made and provided, did acknowledge the sd land called Yarmouth in the sd within written Indenture mentioned
to be the right of the within named George Russell, as those which the said George Russell hath of the guift
of them the said Wm: Hearne & Katherine his wife, they having granted for their Heirs, and all and every y
(Heirs) of the sd Katherine, that ye sd Land within mentioned unto him the sd George: Russell & his Heirs & Assignes
( )ist them the sd Wm: Hearn and Katherine and their Heirs and all and every the Heirs of the sd Katherine they
warrant for ever. And for this acknolwedgmt.Quitt Claim & agreemt. the sd George Russell having given unto them the sd
(Wm:) and Katherine six thousand five hundred pounds of tobacco: Taken before us the day and year above said
(Recd) the fine of Alienation this 11th. day of 9ber ano. 1690 Samuel: Hopkins
