AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the
purpose of

defining the term "Marker"

clarifying the definition of "Memorial Garden"
to permit the individual identification of ashes
of the deceased at the location where the ashes
are interred.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery
County Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery
County Code:

Article 59-A                          "In General"

Division 59-A-2 "Definitions and Interpretation"

Effective Date August 17, 1987.

AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the
purpose of

clarifying the original intent of the District

Council to restrict the development of retail

sales and personal service uses in the
industrial zones.

revising the standards applicable to retail
sales and personal service uses in industrial
zones to minimize the adverse impacts of such
commercial uses on planned industrial areas, and
surrounding roadways.

allowing retail sales and personal service uses
in the I-3 Zone as a permitted use under certain
circumstances, rather than a special exception
use as provided under current regulations.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery
County Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery
County Code:

Division 59-C-5                    "INDUSTRIAL ZONES"

Section 59-C-5.2 "LAND USES"
